He built an application in VB.NET and an Access Database in a way that 5 people could work continuously at the
same time. He built an efficient Frequently Asked Questions solution (FAQ) to manage incoming questions.
FT-IR is an analytical laboratory tool for sample screening, sample profiling and for the identification of unknown samples.
Johan was responsible for the configuration of this laboratory tool to identify advanced chemical compounds.
Johan defined, designed, configured and tested the complete BusinessObjects environment with SAP BW connection. He
defined the scope, technical implementation and gave management user-trainings. He also participated in the BI-part of the
AGFA Redesign project for Healthcare that consist of a complete rebuild of the Bex reporting and improve the reporting
possibilities of SAP BEX with SAP Business Objects (Web Intelligence, Analysis for Excel, Analysis for Powerpoint, Lumira),
Qlik Sense and Tableau Software.
Johan was responsible for the migration of their BO Environment from BO 6.5 to BO XI 3.1 and improve the universe and
reporting functionalities (adding joins, contexts, classes, objects, hierarchies). This involved the fundamental redesign of the
core universe due to changes in the underlying SQL database. He also designed the data warehouse model which allows
them to track site-activity (competitor station information) and directly reported to the management and CIO of Q8 Petroleum.
Johan had to establish the data flow between SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP BO (Business Objects) using BeX
Query. After the setup, he started optimizing the universes. In the next phase, Johan gave the client training on how everything
was integrated and what the functionalities were in terms of querying, reporting and the integration between SAP CRM and
SAP BO using Open Documents.
